Procrastinating!

Hi,
Well I have yet to get back to my scrapbooking, and I need to do that. I think I am procrastinating because I don't want to accept that my first born is graduating from HS this year. I am working on his toddler to teen album to display at the party, I only have a few years left to finish, but if I finish it then it will be true that he's off to college in the fall.. Silly I know, but that's how I roll.

So instead today I'll post this Thank You card that I made for those who attended my first amuse studio workshop. It was so simple, but I think it turned out quite nice.

Sorry for the poor color on the pics- I need to get better at that. Have to stop taking the pics with my phone.

Recipe: (a|s = amuse studio)

cardstock - a|s papaya
stamps/ink -flower: a|s marvelous marigolds/orange ink, background: a|s mesh background/papaya ink; sentiment: contemporary greetings/ocean ink.

Wow .. I am behind

Wow ... I can't believe it's been 3 weeks since I posted. That means I haven't crafted in that long either. That is just not right. Hoping the Cricut E2 launch party will get me motivated. Check out this blog for some E2 fun: Mixology Crafts

Happy Crafting to you ! Hope to have some a muse studio cards done by the end of the week.

Gift Card Holders

Spent some time making cards again this weekend. I was going through my to do pile and found 2 graduation announcements from 2010 that I hadn't sent gifts for. I whipped up these quick gift card holders, though I think I will just put checks in them instead.

I used all a muse studio products, the guitars are from the You Rock set.  The a muse paper is white on the back, so I will write my message there.

I am behind on my scrapbooking projects, I plan to get back to them this week and post some items I made on my Cricut and Gypsy.

Have a great day.

My card is on the beautiful Current Shimmer paper and uses the new a muse studio butterfly and label dies, they are wonderful and can be used in any die cutting machine. The background stamp is the Mesh Background and gives such great dimension to the card. It's hard to tell but the butterfly's were sprayed with the Stardust Shimmer spray they are so pretty. Added a few vanilla pearls and this card is ready to be stamped for any occasion.

I do have to give credit to my upline (Sherry C.) for this card, I shadowed her at a workshop last nite and while I physically created the card, the design is all hers.

Continue this great hop with your next stop at the wonderful  Lori Barnett's Blog.

Organization Ideas

My second post today! I ran across this great blog today,   SillyLeAnn Designs Check out the link for some super creative and smart organization ideas. I know I am going to use a lot of these. They will be especially useful for a workshop. Having customers see the paper and inks together, and how versamark looks on the paper, just fantastic.

a muse studio dies with cuttlebug

I haven't received my started kit yet, but I did get the products I ordered from the a muse workshop I attended. I used the a muse studio vintage label dies with my cuttlebug and they worked great.

Sandwich:
  • A plate
  • C plate
  • paper
  • die (cut side down)
  • B plate
Here are the cards I made with the a muse studio dies, and coordinating vintage label stamps. I had to make some new baby cards for 2 sets of twins, one boy set and one boy/girl. I really stretched myself here using buttons and flowers, but I like them. They are being mailed inside a gift, so I didn't have to worry about them being bulky.

Thanks for looking.
